This will be a two-part presentation focusing on Y-DNA (Mar 1st) and mitochondrial DNA (April 5th).  Plan on attending/viewing both parts.  Comparisons will be made between Y and mtDNA and with autosomal and X-DNA.  The testing site, Family Tree DNA, has some new tools for mtDNA, which will be presented in Part II.

Get answers to your DNA questions and guidance on interpreting your results. The first half of the meeting is a review of basic concepts and Q&A or a case study. The second half is a planned topic of the month and discussion of DNA developments. The DNA SIG meets virtually on the first Saturday of the month from 9:30AM-11:30AM. Both beginner and experienced topics are covered in an informal setting each month.
