Working with DNA Matches - Triangulation & DNA Mapping using DNAPainter - Everett Johnson

Everett will demonstrate how to work with DNA matches at the chromosome level and use triangulation techniques to help identify common ancestors, including the use of DNAPainter to map inherited chromosomes to the relevant ancestors.

Get answers to your DNA questions and guidance on interpreting your results. The first half of the meeting is a review of basic concepts and Q&A or a case study. The second half is a planned topic of the month and discussion of DNA developments. The DNA SIG meets virtually on the first Saturday of the month from 9:30AM-11:30AM. Both beginner and experienced topics are covered in an informal setting each month.
