AGENDA

  • Using Airtable for DNA Research - Nicole Dyer

Learn how to track DNA matches in an Airtable base. Airtable is a hybrid of a spreadsheet and a database. Working with DNA matches requires keeping track of many details in many ways. Use a DNA match details table along with a correspondence long and research log within your Airtable base to have a place for everything and everything in its place.

  • Attending Roots Tech & I4GG from Home - John Roads
John will show how you can attend the RootsTech Conference and the Institute for Genetic Genealogy (I4GG) Conference from home.  You can choose sessions to view live or record to view later.

* * *

Get answers to your DNA questions and guidance on interpreting your results. The first half of the meeting is a review of basic concepts and Q&A or a case study. The second half is a planned topic of the month and discussion of DNA developments. The DNA SIG meets virtually on the first Saturday of the month from 9:30AM-11:30AM. Both beginner and experienced topics are covered in an informal setting each month.
