PCGS Member Opportunity: UA Special Collections, Exploring the University's Resources

Join PCGS members for a UA Special Collections Information Session led by archivist Bob Diaz. He will share a presentation including materials from the Special Collection's Catholic Church documents collections, mining records, city directories, materials from the Alianaz Hispanoamericana collections and more!
Get to know session participants at optional lunch or coffee
After the session, join us at Woops! Bakeshop at 845 E University Blvd (Main Gate Square) a half-mile west of the Special Collections Library. Woops! Bakeshop offers lunch options such as sandwiches, macaroons, plus other bakery products, including a few gluten-free items, as well as brewed drip, espresso (including decaf) for lattes and other drinks.

Special Collections Guidelines:
Food, drink, candy, gum, and the use of ink pens are not allowed in UA’s Special Collections Library. Before attending, please read the Special Collections guidelines: https://speccoll.library.arizona.edu/visit-us. If you are staying after the information session to look at materials, you will need to register at the Special Collections front desk.
Parking:
The Cherry Avenue Garage is the closest parking garage to the Special Collections Library. On weekdays, the Cherry Avenue Garage accommodations are subject to special event parking restrictions. This session is scheduled between UA’s sessions, and no large events are known at this time. Several other parking garages are available on campus. Be prepared to pay $2/hour for parking. Parking garages and other areas on campus have handicapped parking. However, some of these parking spaces are restricted to UA designated handicapped permits and not state-issued handicapped permits.
